Important Information
The processing of claims is often delayed because of incomplete information on the claim form. To ensure we can process your claim quickly please read
these guidelines.

The claim form must be submitted with a quotation for either repair or replacement with an item of equivalent specifications.
All sections of the claim form must be completed. The claim form must be completed and signed by the insured (e.g. individual or entity noted on the policy certificate), not the repairer.
If the actual date of the damage/theft is not known, then a date range should be supplied to show when it could have occurred.
Please provide as much information as possible.
Theft Policy Cover
Covered:
- Theft following forcible entry to buildings, residences, lockers, offices and vehicles (providing the equipment is out of sight in a locked vehicle),
- Theft by force e.g. mugging, snatching, intimidation
- Loss in transit e.g. equipment left on bus, train, taxi or other conveyance (but must be with the passenger at all times)
Not Covered:
How to Complete the Claim Form
Forcible Entry/ Theft by Force: Particular attention must be given to describing how the equipment was stolen and security details of the place of loss. The theft must be reported to the police
Loss in Transit: Particular attention must be given to describing how the equipment was lost. The relevant transit owner or authority must be notified of the loss.
Theft from Open Air: Attach a written statement from the user detailing the exact circumstances of loss including:
Where the equipment was located and how long it had been there
Who was in immediate proximity to the equipment
What precautions were taken for its safety
Details of the police station to which the loss was reported
