Most insurance policies will not cover your iPhone or PDA for theft out of a vehicle, but we receive many claims due to this type of event.

Our policy covers theft out of a vehicle as long as the vehicle is locked.

Many other policies also require that the equipment should be placed out of sight or locked in the boot. While we encourage you to never leave your iPhone in plain view in a vehicle, we will pay claims if this results in theft.
